The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking business, is looking for a Data & Business Analyst to join their Change function.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data, process improvement, and business analysis to play a key role in driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Data, Reporting & Stakeholder Support

  • Produce and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders and management
  • Analyse and validate data, ensuring outputs are accurate and actionable
  • Support business teams in leveraging data to improve decision-making and performance
  • Manage incoming requests, track progress, and help prioritise workloads
  • Provide support to users on reporting tools, processes, and templates

Change Delivery & Process Improvement

  • Gather and document business requirements
  • Conduct process mapping and analysis to identify inefficiencies and risks
  • Support initiatives to automate, streamline, and improve business processes
  • Assist in the design, testing, and rollout of reports, dashboards, and solutions
  • Contribute to project delivery, including analysis, testing, and implementation support

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain clear documentation (processes, procedures, user guides)
  • Support tracking tools (e.g. action logs, workflow systems)
  • Contribute to improving team processes, standards, and ways of working

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • A strong communicator, able to build relationships across teams
  • Proactive, curious, and keen to challenge and improve existing processes
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Experience

  • Degree or relevant experience in business, data, finance, or technology
  • Experience or strong interest in data analysis, reporting, or business analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with structured data
  • Exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI / Tableau, or similar (desirable)
  • Ability to document processes, requirements, and solutions clearly
