Business Systems and Data Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems & Data Manager to lead the development, optimisation, and innovation of their core systems and data capabilities.

This is a key role combining hands-on delivery with strategic input, ensuring systems are reliable, efficient, and support data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a small technical team, driving performance and continuous improvement
• Manage and enhance business applications to ensure reliability and effectiveness
• Deliver system upgrades, improvements, and change initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver practical solutions
• Drive innovation, including the adoption of new and emerging technologies
• Strengthen data, reporting, and analytics to support business insight
• Ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and fit for purpose

About you:

• Proven experience managing business systems and leading technical teams
• Strong understanding of applications, data, and system integration
• Experience delivering system improvements or projects
• Confident working with stakeholders and third-party suppliers
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting and data (e.g. SQL)
• Proactive, practical, and delivery-focused
