Project Manager

Our client, a well-established financial services organisation based in the Channel Islands, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Change function. You will lead the delivery of high-impact transformation initiatives across the organisation, operating within a hybrid delivery environment using Agile and waterfall methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of change initiatives using Agile, release train, or waterfall methodologies
• Maintain strong governance including RAID management, reporting, and audit readiness
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, SMEs, and technology partners, providing clear reporting to senior leadership
• Lead delivery within an assigned horizontal capability — which may include CRM, Core Banking, Customer Journeys, AI automation, or QA
• Ensure all change activity meets regulatory requirements and operational resilience expectations
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and third-party supplier delivery

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering change within financial services, ideally banking or lending
• Strong project management expertise across Agile, release trains, and waterfall methodologies
• Experience within at least one delivery pillar: Risk, Regulatory, Optimisation & Growth, or Finance
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and governance skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Desirable

• Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or SAFe
• Experience with digital transformation, automation, data-led change, or AI-enabled delivery
